Helium steel tanks. This project fit Porter well because these tanks needed to rest on four piers 50 ‘-0” apart and each pier will receive its own digital scale . Ed Neiheisel, Owner of Youngstown Oxygen, wanted a visual effect of absolutely no shims, no grout under scale bearing. The final product was delivered with complete satisfaction as each pier elevations were equal with zero tolerance.

After setting very large helium tanks, which required zero tolerance due to digital tank scales, tank installers were amazed the perfection of elevations of four Porter Foundation’s structural piers. No use for metal shims or grouting that created an aesthetic pleasing feature to our project.
